Alexander began playing the violin at the age of four under the guidance of his mother, who is the head of the Norilsk Musical College. After graduating from music school, he moved to Moscow and enrolled in the Gnesin Music School, studying in the class of E. Zlobina. He also received additional instruction from A.N. Dogadaev, now a lecturer at the string department of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music.
During his studies, Alexander became a prizewinner in numerous national and international competitions.
