Mode Modal Scale Musical Scale
The Locrian mode follows the interval pattern:
- H–W–W–H–W–W–W**
Its most notable feature is the diminished 5th, which gives it a dissonant and unstable sound.

Characteristics
- Rare in traditional tonal music
