Pavel Ratynsky
Pavel began learning to play the accordion at the age of four, initially under the guidance of the renowned accordionist Joseph Purits Sr., and later with Natalia Purits. From 2006 to 2010, he studied at the Moscow State Music College named after Schnittke in the class of Professor A.I. Ledenev. He continued his education with Professor Ledenev from 2010 to 2015 at the Schnittke Institute of Music.
Pavel is the winner of more than thirty national and international competitions. At the age of five, he earned his first title as a prizewinner at the Klassikanova International Competition in Germany. From that moment on, he began an intensive artistic career, regularly achieving victories at international competitions and participating in festivals and concerts both in Russia and abroad.
He has frequently performed at the Bayan and Bayanists International Festival in Moscow. Among his notable achievements are victories at Viva Accordion (Samara, 2010), the Internationale Akkordeonwettbewerb Klingenthal (Germany, 2002, 2004, 2010), the 60th Trophée Mondial de l’Accordéon (Vigo, Spain, 2010), Voices of Spring (Moscow, 2005, 2008, 2011), the 10th Youth Delphic Games (Saratov, 2008; Tver, 2011), and the 64th Coupe Mondiale (Shanghai, China, 2011).
Pavel has been performing with Solo Tango Orquesta since March 2016.
